School Extension

Gando, Burkina Faso

Three years after the opening, the Primary School counts more than 280 pupils from Gando and its surrounding villages. This made an extension obligatory.
The design is based on the same climatic ideas as the first building but using another expression. Instead of the ceiling there is a vault roof made of BTC bricks. The school extension will be completed with a public library which forms together with the primary school an ensemble of buildings.
